- Bank of America Ripple partnership may have existed since 2018
Ripple has made crypto headlines recently as Bank of America executives confirm a partnership with Ripple.
However, according to a presentation from 2018 with Asheesh Birla, SVP of Product at Ripple, Bank of America has been a Ripple customer since 2018.
Furthermore upon taking a closer look at what the Bank of America executive said, it is entirely possible that the partnership has existed for several years.
…we built or partnerships that we have with the likes of Ripple or Swift. These are Fintechs that we’re partnering with. They’ve come through all of our rigor of legal and compliance and we’re able to leverage our banking as a platform to deliver that to youBank of America Transcript
The executive hints that the partnership is not new and has been in place for a significant period of time. Regardless of whether the partnership with Bank of America is new, Ripple’s offerings continue to see a surge in global adoption.
